Service!

We love showcasing the service provided to our lodge, council, and community! Below you can report any service completed such as staffing, camp service, OA trail crew, service in your unit, or even personal service to your community. Further down you can see some of the service done by our lodge!

REPORTING SERVICE

Please describe in detail your service project with a list of Arrowmen and non-Arrowmen hours of service. Please email pictures of the event to oabigfoot@gmail.com. Submissions will be featured on our Facebook page and at Yeti Fest! We really would like to showcase photos so please send them!

PROJECTS

Troop 70 Making Sandbags for Flood Relief

New OA Bowl, Ed Bryant Scout Reservation

Construction on our new OA bowl began at Spring Conference 2022.

Camp Chapel, Ed Bryant Scout Reservation

Constructed at 2018 Spring Conference, the Chapel serves as the camp's primary worship center.

Shoreline Trail, Ed Bryant Scout Reservation

A new trail has been cut to link Boat Beach and Swim Beach together. Gravel has been started along this trail as well as the installation of a split rail fence along the lake. This is an ongoing project that will be complete in the summer of 2019.

Bat Houses, Ed Bryant Scout Reservation

Three rocket-style bat houses were built to house over 300 bats each. Our native big and little brown bats have been declining in population due to white-nose syndrome and habitat destruction. EBSR is an active flyway for both of these species and we hope that they chose our new houses at EBSR.
